Market prob likes less coins going to farmers

Jacek decided to ban a bunch of people right before the season's end based on previously unannounced rules. Lots of people got banned, many for obvious manipulation ("but I was playing by the rules!") and others for just tipping in a tight-nit community (e.g. artists).

New strategy for next season is "have rules but dont announce them until the end"

Funnily enough, price has gone up since the drama started.

Bans for people who used mintclub too much even though there wasn’t really any rule in place about what was too much prior to the new rule.

Some other bans for tip trading too. Mostly revolves around a lack of transparency and or direction. 

But apparently it resets every month so it’s not a permanent ban and it really doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.

sure it was two main debacles:

- earlier this week, anyone with a 0 or 1 spam score (you know the thing from 0-1-2) was banned from using $degen

- yesterday, new bans were announced for those who used @mcdegen which was an incentive Jacek had promoted to use

This announcement just looks like you’re trying to avoid accountability for the fact that people followed the rules laid down by you and your team.

For the farmers I can’t say anything in their defense because they really hurt the price and the community of genuine and honest degens and I know it hurts more because they’re the “cabal” = your “friends”

But the purpose of this thread is to be an objective voice for the genuine victims of this ‘ban’ 

I know you think being firm is the best option and frankly it seems like it but consider that people depend on this monthly claim to fend for themselves and take care of their families 

Solution: Give the people who followed your tip4tip rule but still maintained the <15 ratio at least half of their season’s worth and let this serve as a warning for future players

Why? They’re the core of the community, the builders, the artists, the ones who never took their hats off..
