I believe channels are the future of Farcaster.

Disagree. They are cool and novel form factor but more of a feature than "future of Farcaster" at this point.

I think new folks with no existing network here will be completely lost and invisible without them.

I think you'd need a new client that takes a new interpetation of channel UX and nontrivially onboards new users. With Warpcast it seems like it never really fit for retentive behavior, and i don't see a path to the team reprioritizing them

For a lot of new users channels are actually more confusing and create overload of "idk what channel to post in"

I’m definitely looking forward to a channel client!!
