i think ppl forget/dont know that jesper is also the founder of Acne Studios. he approaches design/creative direction differently.

but also, the context is independent of the original claim right? knowing he founded acne studios does not have anything to do with the question of whether people actually use teenage engineering products

but i think the real controversy is that his response diminishes the modern design industry's fight for a more evidence-based approach. especially since he's quite revered for his vision at t.e.

i think it does because your interpretation of his response/approach would be based on a new subset of criteria e.g. you wouldn't evaluate a game designer the same way you would an app designer.
