I was surprised to see how many people were just out of commission on the streets of shibuya last night

Drinking/nightlife culture here seems the one thing that is a sort of inconsistency with everything else about the city which is otherwise extremely clean, neat, healthy, put together

well, when i say out of commission i mean like unconscious on the ground, not just like "kinda fucked up"

in any case, main observation is just that it's inconsistent with the other parts of japanese culture i've seen, not any sort of judgment
