Re x402 a research tool / chat and more agent systems like askgina.ai could leverage it to pay for specific articles vs monthly subscriptions. I'd use my balance to unlock an article behind a pay wall for research and also then have that indexed so I can myself also read it vs having to pay monthly for all kinds of subscriptions. Blockchain may bring back pay per use for agents, I doubt it will for humans as subscriptions are convenient. (Session Keys may change that)

probably depends on the use case, PAYG model already found success in places like Cursor when you hit your plan usage limit.
