imo the idea of e2e encrypted email clients was a false promise from the start. sure you can privately mail to your one friend who’s also on skiff.
but all other traffic will still hit skiffs servers in plain text :/

same issue with protonmail.
imo the better approach is to focus on making PGP more user friendly. kind of what mailvelope is doing
