"Geometria et Perspectiva" (Lorenz Stoer, 1567) A book containing illustrations of geometric landscapes. The only text is on the title page, and explains that they are relevant to the craft of "intarsia" (a form of decorative wood inlaying). The title page also contains a motto that translates to: "Who would do right by everyone? No one would even try."

Yes! Really really fascinating to me, as well. I wish there was more info. But I guess that’s part of what makes it so interesting
