Yeah. I know what you mean. I often feel the same with my career, and with everyday life stuff in general.

I always hear people use "imposter syndrome" as a way to describe this type of thing. But I don't quite feel that way myself. I'm very confident that I'm good at pretty much anything I put my full effort toward. Because I  simply don't stop until I know it's exceptional. Probably kinda like how you say that you know your art slays.

But maybe this is why it feels like it's never enough. Because of the intrinsic pressure and high amount of effort. We condition ourselves to feel like we need to reach this bar that is higher and higher.

I imagine it's doubly hard as an artist, due to the nature of what type of work that is.

thanks. and i know this is really stupid and that my art slays... but there's always an inner voice just pointing out the shortcomings. it's never enough.
