this weekend i learned walmart, at least in virginia /— does not accept tap to pay. they have ingenico pos for physical card and force you to use the walmart app for virtual payments

Interesting. I’m really surprised credit card companies haven’t put clauses in their contracts forcing merchants to allow it. Maybe there are laws that prevent them from doing that?
