Daniel Ek (founder of Spoitfy) says the cost of creating content is "close to zero"

Of course the guy profiting hundreds of millions of dollars quarterly off the backs of artists by devaluing art has no fucking idea how expensive it is to make.

Absolutely delusional. A cartoonishly evil supervillain.

His response is still vague to me. It’s almost as if someone instructed him to say nothing just to get ppl talking on Twitter. 

“Creation is only part of the equation.“

Every artist on Spotify knows this. They drop music and earn almost nothing back even when it’s very good/creative.

Yikes, the response is almost worse than the original. He doubles down, and then some.
