Users who maxed out their follows should get a warning that they need more storage before following more people

and/or

Follows from them should not appear in notifications as it becomes noisy being refollowed by the same person(s).

Either way, they’re likely not even aware that it’s happening.

Oh wow. Now I feel like a huge asshole for thinking people unfollow me, and then holding a grudge about it 😆  I didn't realize this is something that happens, wow

Thanks, good to know! Because I've seen people follow, unfollow, follow, unfollow. And then I think they are doing that thing where they follow people to get a high number of followers, only to ditch them later. And it hurts my feelings lol. But maybe this is what's going on with a lot of them.

If they’re following count is in multiples of 2500, then they’re indeed maxing out!
