What are some of your hacks to retain more information from a book you're reading? I've started underlining important sentences and plan on skimming the book after I finish it to reread those.

Iām going to copy this - great idea For me currently, I spend about 5 min thinking through how I could have applied a lesson/approach to something else I already did that day. Or consciously think through how I am apply it to the rest of my day. Helps me implant the info

That's a good approach too, though it's more short-term. Underlining has the benefit that you can come back to it months or even years later and refresh the info really fast.

Yeah, that's true. I usually throw/give stuff away, but books are different
