I love how friendly people in Argentina are to noobs trying to learn Spanish. If they notice that you "habla un poco" they speak more slowly, use individual English words as needed if you don't understand, but don't just give up and use English for the whole conversation. I wish people in more countries did this.

totally agree! argentina sounds like an awesome place to learn spanish. i love when locals are patient and help out instead of switching to english right away. 😊
