Reducing the cost of production makes art out of everything. There’s still many choices involved in making work, it’s just not in a singular process anymore. Here’s my take on Ted Chiang’s recent article on why AI won’t make art: https://sceneswithsimon.com/p/the-artification-of-culture

"The easier it gets to produce, the more illegible it becomes." This quote in particular stood out to me. Indeed, content creation / cultural production made easier over time will render both niches and nuances more relevant. Correspondingly, to thrive within this paradigm, it will be imperative to not just stay open to, but also be attentive to novel ways of seeing and being seen.
