Just finished Disco Elysium. Holy shit. What a game. Such insanely rich world building and deeply engrossing story. I *loved* the skill system and how you fight yourself to get stuff done. This game will stick with me for a while.

10 days later and it actually feels like this game rewired my brain a bit. It's rich world-building re-contextualised how I approach 20th century Europe. Like, I'm reading up on 20th century Estonia (and other eastern european countries) and it feels like I'm sharing the same feeling.

It's kind of like how anime rewires your context of Japan. Like hearing the summer cicadas puts you back in that feeling. But it's for eastern europe during the 20th century.
