i’ve noticed something interesting in my reality-bending experiments when i use affirmations, they don’t do much unless i’m able to embody the feeling of them viscerally. then i experience a sort of energetic detox of anything that is incompatible. it can be dramatic! but when i use intentions, no emotion is needed at all. i seem to need only to have a reasonable belief in the intention, then it seems like my life shifts in that direction without effort do you have any observations about either of these? have they been useful?

Affirmations don't work unless you really believe in something. If you believe in something with your whole being, do you have to make affirmations?

much of our belief systems are subconscious, so affirmations can be very helpful to identify areas that need shifting. you can try on beliefs and see how they feel. in some cases they can be cathartic, too but i think it’s just whatever works for each individual! there’s no right or wrong answer. you don’t *need* them if you have another way that works for you
