Musk is a fascist, a racist, against labor rights, anti-democratic, and an outright anarcho-capitalist. To admire him or praise his work is to admire and praise these qualities. I have lost followers for this take on here. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Ancaps are inhumane scum.

That's why I did it! I didn't want it to feel like an echo chamber. I know a lot of people feel the same way as me. The FC OG techies are the loudest voices but don't represent everyone. I'm willing to be proven wrong about people. When it comes to billionaires with an inhumane track record like Musk, hard to defend.

I think that the right and left narrative is the problem. It's really not a very linear world like that. But it keeps the us vs them narrative going, keeps people blaming each other rather than having nuanced discussions about politics and the role of government...

I mean not that surprising given the Libertarian values of the original cypher punks that were heavily involved in early Bitcoin, is it? More surprising in the Ethereum community specifically given a DAO is basically a digital coop and public goods & coordination are core values in the community.
