I'm feeling dumber and dumber each time I DCA into ETH.

I bought ETHE out of FOMO in 2021, and watched it go -90%. I bought ETHW ETF and I'm getting deja vu.

I've been DCAing since 2021, I brought down my average buy price from ~3500 to 1700. Why did I start from the top? That's when I discovered Ether / Ethereum and began investing, sometimes it be like that.

Assuming that buying Ether is a sound long-term investment, I have money in a tax-advantaged account that I allocated to ETH etf.  I do not pay taxes on any capital gains in this account.

Genuine question (not second-guessing your decision), but why did you buy ETFs over the native token? Is there an advantage (fiscal or otherwise) to doing that?

Not that buying native ETH would have been any different price-wise of course

Well the upshot is they’re different vehicles.  

Also, time can heal all wounds.

Patience. And then some more patience after that. Not easy to see that at the moment, and  we could be in for a wild ride before we get there.
