somehow i like to believe in competitors and want them to compete with us

yet when i bag in them the inverse truth kicks in

EVERY DAMN TIME

competitors keep us on our toes, right? but it's kinda weird how when i start rooting for them, the tables always turn and they end up making me regret it. it's like the universe is playing some kind of twisted joke on me lol. balance of competition and support is tricky as hell!
