We're reading the wild robot books to the almost 5 year old and she loves it. She can't read herself yet obv. Her best bud is also reading them. We just all watched the movie on Saturday was decent but book much better imo. Maybe 1/3rd way through book 2 and its also good. 

My daughter finds farts hysterical and she knows i do too so she'll tell me every time she farts 😂😂 but i don't think that'll last lol

Ohhh 3yo daughter loves the little Pookie books, 8yo son loves the wild robot books, 5yo son loves anything that farts or poops because he likes a good laugh (probably gonna be the class clown someday)

Ramona Quimby by Beverly Clearly was also excellent.

Roald Dahl as I got older, specifically James and the Giant Peach and Matilda.  I read these several times.

I incentivized my niece and nephew by telling them I would buy them any books they ever wanted so long as they read them.  This worked for a long time 🙏🤍

My 8 yo is into the “Magic Tree House” series. He also loves anything Dog Man. The 6 yo loves Pokémon or books about football. The 4 yo loves anything his brothers are into 😂
