What was/is your kid's favorite book? For what age?

Berenstain Bears were my favorite as a child 😍 

Ramona Quimby by Beverly Clearly was also excellent.

Roald Dahl as I got older, specifically James and the Giant Peach and Matilda.  I read these several times.

I incentivized my niece and nephew by telling them I would buy them any books they ever wanted so long as they read them.  This worked for a long time 🙏🤍

I wish they would make a new James and the giant peach movie.

I think I've read over 1000 books.  I can only recall maybe 100.

I can remember my childhood favorites with incredible detail.

Love all of these!!  My nieces are avid readers, my nephew needed incentive.  He's 7, I've offered $1 for each book he reads.  I could go broke if he's wise.
