Chopping up my own garnish spring onions from our back yard. Beauty of spring onions is that I just kept the bulb section of the bottom after using the retail ones, put them in soil and they just kinda look after themselves 😂

I totally need to do this. Scallion is great but i use it so infrequently...

Interesting, never heard of freezing scallions. One day. Probably won't be this year. Always have big ambitions but with the kids it's just impractical these days to get too aggressive. I can barely keep up with the basic maintenance

You can just grow a couple then to meet your needs. I have like 10 or so in pot plants and water then periodically. 
You could just have one or two of you want. Even if you don’t collect them, they just keep on growing lmao, so just collect at your leisure.

Also they have an amazing shelf life if you pop the zip look in the freezer anyhow.
