The concept of learning styles (e.g. auditory, visual, kinesthetic) is widely accepted as fact in American education, yet there is 0 empirical support for the concept. It’s a myth, a poltergeist - it doesn’t exist. It materialized out of nowhere many decades ago and overtook the education zeitgeist.
