Encountered a signage today that calculates the calories passengers burn using a staircase instead of escalators. Clever use of space and a brilliant example of nudging behavior change through subtle design. By making the most of an often-overlooked area, it grabs attention and makes taking staircase easy and fun and accessible and visible.
