Andriivskyi descent is the second famous street in Kyiv after Khreshchatyk. It’s a walking area and a museum under the sky. Here there were houses of famous writers and well-known people. Now they are museums. There are also art galleries, theatre studios , cafes and restaurants. Artists sell here their paintings or national crafts. But as for me, the most spectacular building is St. Andrew’s Church, located just at the top of the street! It was built by famous architect Rastrelli in the Baroque style and is a monument of history, architecture, painting of the 18th century of the world importance

There are beautiful places in Kyiv, but if you take the size of the city and the ratio of beautiful places to its shortcomings, you get very bad statistics. I lived there for 2 years and I never liked it there.

I lived in Osokorki, only high-rise buildings, nowhere to go, going somewhere is far away... and it’s not even Troyeshchyna or Borshagovka!
