Another story about crazy clients on photo shoots. Many tourists came for their honeymoon and had symbolic (sometimes official) wedding ceremonies. Sometimes we did them on Saona Island. The problem was that there were few beaches on the island (most of the island is sharp rocks) and after 9:30 in the morning it became very crowded. So the ceremony had to be done very early, so that we would have the island to ourselves and everything would look beautiful. Usually it was not a problem - only the weather could ruin everything. I once had to shoot such a wedding. We arrived at the hotel to pick up the couple, and the bride came out upset. She said that she needed help. We went with her to her room with a decorator, and it turned out that her groom was so drunk that he could not even wake up ... It was impossible to change the date, because they were leaving in a few days. The bride asked us to carry him to the bus ...

As a wedding photographer, I can say that about 30% of the weddings I or my photographer friends have photographed end in divorce within the first year. And those are just the ones I know of.
