Sometimes when people want to move fast and not dig into the details, they casually toss out a "you're overthinking it" comment. For someone that deeply cares about their work and is in the details because they know it results in better outcomes, comments like this feel so dismissive. As Adam Grant says: "The cure for overthinking isn't thinking less - it's rethinking more." So what's the difference? Overthinking = mental hamster wheel, same tired loops, energy drain Rethinking = fresh perspectives, expanded vision, gaining clarity If you work in crypto or in a space where innovation is happening at the edges, rethinking is essential. The best products come from builders who question assumptions others take for granted. So, if people are uncomfortable with your level of thoroughness or want to move forward without understanding the implications of their actions than so be it. But it does not mean that you are overthinking it. Keep up the rethinking! [End Rant]

i agree with this to an extent. don't overthink basically for me means go out in the market & test your hypothesis out - often the stakes are low enough to try it out + it actually helps you rethink better & faster..
