Final day of packing for my two-month trip to South Africa.

Between bursts of adrenaline-fueled productivity, I cycle through caffeine induced meltdowns. The whole family is on high alert—Mom is packing!

On a serious note, after traveling my entire freaking life, shouldn’t this get easier? Apparently not. The verdict is in: I’m a hoarder, and no amount of practice (or tears) will change that. Now, one last pre-dinner meltdown, and then—finally—I can pack away my laptop.
