In the silence of a lonely night,
When shadows whisper, soft and slight,
I hear the echoes of dreams unmet,
Of moments gone, I can't forget.
We had plans, unspoken and dear,
A future bright, yet now unclear.
Your laughter, love, a beacon bright,
Extinguished in the darkest night.
In memories, I seek your face,
In every corner, every place.
A life together, dreams untold,
In whispered tales, I now behold.
Our time was short, yet love so deep,
In heart's embrace, forever keep.
I yearn for days we never knew,
For joys we planned, just me and you.
The world moves on, but I remain,
In silent tears, in quiet pain.
For you, my love, my heart still yearns,
In every breath, in every turn.
So here I stand, in shadows cast,
Holding on to love that passed.
Unlived joys, in heart confined,
Forevermore, in soul entwined.
