Behind a mask, she hides her face
A disguise to conceal her secret place
A heart that's broken, a soul that's worn
A life that's shattered, like a mirror torn
She changes her name, her voice, her stride
A new identity, to hide her inside
But in the silence, she still hears her heart
A whispered reminder, of her shattered part
In this new skin, she finds a fragile strength
A determination, to survive the length
Of days that blend, in a haze of pain
A life that's lived, in a mask's disguise and stain
In these quiet moments, she's free to be
A glimpse of her true self, wild and carefree
But dawn's light creeps, and the mask is back
A shield to protect, her shattered heart's attack
She'll wear the mask, through the day's loud din
And hide her heart, until the silence creeps in
For in the stillness, she finds a fragile peace
A solace that soothes, her heart's deep release. 1 reply

HER BROKEN MIND
In streets of stone, she walks alone
A soul forsaken, without a home
Her heart, a flame, that once burned bright
Now flickers dim, in endless night
Her eyes, once pools of shining light
Now dimly gaze, through tears and fright
Her smile, a rare and fading ray
A beauty lost, in a world of gray
She searches for a gentle hand
A love that understands, a heart that stands
But finds instead, a world of pain
A rejection that cuts like a knife in vain
Her voice, a whisper, barely heard
A cry for help, in a world that's blurred
Her dreams, a distant, fading shore
A hope that's lost, forever more
In this dark world, she's forced to roam
A stranger, in a place called home
Her heart, a heavy burden bears
A weight that's crushing, through all her years
But still she holds, on to her pride
A glimmer of strength, deep inside
A spark that glows, in the dark of night
A light that guides, through the darkest plight 3 replies

A life of pain, a heart of stone,
A mask to wear, a truth unknown.
A soul that suffers, a mind that cries,
A world of secrets, a life of lies.
To hide the past, to bury the pain,
To live a life that's not in vain.
To smile and laugh, to play a role,
To hide the truth, to keep control.
But deep inside, the pain remains,
A heart that's broken, a soul in chains.
The memories haunt, the wounds still bleed,
A life of pain, a soul in need.
Yet in the darkness, a glimmer of hope,
A chance to heal, a way to cope.
To face the truth, to find the light,
And live a life that's truly bright.

THE MASKED GIRL 2
Through city lights, she'll make her way,
A masked adventurer, in a world of gray,
She'll search for truth, in every face,
And find her own, in a secret place.
With each new step, a story unfolds,
Of dreams and fears, of young and old,
Her mask a passport, to hidden lands,
Where mystery and wonder, join her hands.
In this disguise, she'll find her voice,
A whispered truth, a heartfelt choice,
To wear the mask, or to reveal,
A decision hers, a story to conceal. 1 reply

THE MASKED GIRL
With her mask in place, she steps outside,
A world of wonder, hers to abide,
She hides her face, but frees her soul,
To dance with strangers, her heart's goal.
Through city streets, she walks with grace,
Her mask a shield, a secret place,
She observes life, with curious eyes,
Drinking in moments, like sweet surprise.
In this disguise, she finds her strength,
A courage born, of hidden length,
She roams the night, with heart aglow,
A masked adventurer, with secrets to know.
