the reason i shit on emerging house music is that the sound teaches audiences to accept and love that doesn’t really need a human touch even if the artist is uniquely talented, the talent is: emulating really good computer music and if popular music genre starts sounding like it could have been entirely generated by a computer, computers will become its pioneers

this is a good example..i don't like John Summit. Its pop music..hardly "house" IMO...especially this one..but his story is pretty cool and i respect what he's doing. Fred i dont think is a good example...theres a reason so many people resonated with his music..dude spends a lot of time and focus on making dance music that genuinely lands on an emotional level. hes spoken about the emotional side of things a lot..and how that effects his writing process. i wouldn't classify that stuff as "House" but i understand where you're coming from.
