The thing is they can quickly become commoditized as more paths between chains come online. I would say the majority of the value accrues at the wallet layer since they abstract away the specifics of the blockchain, choose which bridge to take, get paid by the block builders and higher switching costs for end users

That’s a good point 👌 Wallets may capture most if not all the cross-chain fees
