POV: there is no influx of people waiting to join Farcaster once it goes permissionless other than airdrop farmers. 1. We use Ethereum, so anyone anti-crypto is won’t be convinced in the near term 2. Existing apps are too similar to Twitter, with way less content New types of apps / behaviors for growth.

We need some FarmVille-like web3 games built on top of FC. Getting access to 10k+ crypto power users, sharing scoreboards in the feed, trending NFTs tab - seems like a good deal for game designers.

Funny enough, I built web3 FarmVille last year for fun https://cropxyz.com . Was very much the FarmVille aesthetic and mechanics with plots (as NFTs) that have stats and the seeds themselves in a whole in game tradable economy (everything on chain backed by over 50 contracts). Was fun watching people play.

I can see the social aspect really helping. I was trying to build an on-chain communication layer but it was pretty challenging to make the UX seem less. I hadn’t thought about it but FC makes a good plugin especially all the CropXYZ contracts are on Polygon.
