Tengoku Daimakyo and Kaiba are good ones. There's another one but I forget the name. Maybe Priority Egg, World Egg. I'm pretty sure egg is in the title. The ending is meh but every episode prior to that is great.

This isn't a real take but my general response is that, "it'll be good if it's good and bad if it's bad." I've seen good adaptations of stuff, bad adaptations, and everything in the middle. Nothing is anything by default.

I think they're usually due to production delays. I don't remember the series, but they did a behind the scenes visit to the studio and voice actor interviews rather than recap. I thought that was amazing. I love stuff like that.

I wish it didn't turn into a "kids raised in a facility with near magical powers" show. And the MCs were actually villains like the premise. It was like an interesting idea but I thought the creator made it more and more generic as time went on. OP is 🔥 though.

I loathe "Now and Then, Here and There". I love love love "School Days" and the first "White Album" (the one where everyone is college age). Relationship shows with no drama, *all ups, no downs* are hard to watch.
