1. Last week, we previewed the upcoming channel changes

2. We want to ensure that existing channels have a set of members on Day 1

3. We’re proposing automatically converting active followers → members for channels.

4. We’re optimizing for something straightforward and pragmatic, not perfect.

Would it be possible to purge/reset the members set if the channel wants to start from scratch? (I assume coming later?)

A doodler and computerer. I like permissive/permissionless open source, smart contracts, p2p systems, room-scale VR, and NixOS.

Ethereum

I was imagining some new moderation approaches for /ethereum but it would be contingent on who is a member with write access, and unclear how that ends up with the algorithmic inclusion. No specific plan yet.

I think just cleaning it up manually after launch probably works.
