It looks like among /politics, /geopolitics, /uspolitics, etc. /cryptoleft is a close second most active political channel on Warpcast (just behind /politics) despite being a supposedly niche channel. Why is that? I'm active here because I can't stand Twitter anymore. Does anyone else have any other reason?

I see more interesting takes here than in most other politics places. Other spaces all kinda seem fungible with similar takes regardless where you go (on reddit, on twitter, on here). And most other leftist spaces are aggressively anti-crypto, so their takes are unimaginative. /cryptoleft is very unique this way.

Yeah this is a good summary, and tbh a more nuanced way of looking at it than simply escaping from Musk's oddities (which I have to admit, is the primary reason for me).

Interesting reply, makes sense, leftist people uses to reject crypto and tech improvements.. but this tech is useful.. I think we could take that to another level.. we are here, innovating, but I am feeling that this desconnection with irl movements is a barrier.. that we need to go through.. to get irl impact.. to help more people out there..
