What are you into? What kind of food are you rarely able to find where you are?

I’m into ethnic food, music, sports. I like hole in the wall Asian spots run by a family, I like dim sum, I like kbbq, I like taco trucks and taco stands, I like curry and island food, I LOVE Persian food, I like tasting menus. Prob gonna get a hotel near the film festival festivities, def would love hotel / neighborhood recs too

There's tons of amazing places you wont need reservations for, but some you might: Sunnys Chinese in Kensington (lots of great stuff there, check Seven Lives next door, no res; no taco trucks in Toronto but pretty good fancyish tacos here); Lots of good $100ish omakase sushi, but for takeout try Oroshi Fish Co; Khao San Road is lovely Thai near the festival area; toooons of great dim sum on Spadina, can't go too wrong; several good Persian places but I dunno of fancy ones (eg Pomegranate).

This is amazing, let me be clear I could care less if it’s fancy, I actually prefer a walk in no frills affordable spot with banging food. I’ll prob only do one finer dining experience
