I know I’m in the minority for hating on Severance and that’s OK. But look at this hilarious response I got for criticizing it on X, which I’m sharing here because I think it’s a good example of how the toxic culture of that platform is to be an asshole no matter whether it’s politics or TV or anything.

Did you enjoy watching Lost? I feel it's the 2025 take on Lost.

A little disappointed because season 1 felt a little more sci-fi, season 2 lost that.

I never saw it but I have been drawing this parallel myself just based on the fandom. 


I feel the same way. Season 1 felt like interesting sci-fi. Season 2… something else. And if everything turns on the resurrection of the Keir founder guy through some consciousness defying technology, then I think the Netflix show Pantheon does a much better job of exploring that idea.
