Can someone please give me a tl;dr on the EF/vitalik situation + the sudden obsession with milady?

Vitalik owns the decision for the executive director role of the EF. ETH underperforming vs SOL/BTC is drawing ire, another version of "why won't the devs do something" but for now blaming the current ED.

Dunno V's thinking on milady but I'm interpreting it as symbolically doing this:

Not trying to defend Vitalik or EF, but just remind people of some facts. 

Vitalik got incredibly burned early on in Ethereum by people who were almost solely focused on money and willing to sacrifice decentralization for it. This went against his ideals.

Maybe he swung too far…

@laurashin All the best leaders are people who choose to embody the needs of the cause they're leading.

Everyone who has been in the space long enough has been burned. If Vitalik wants to embody the needs of the cause today then I'm sure he'll do at least as well as anyone else.
