1. what tools do you use in conjunction with Obsidian to create/edit/view .md files? 2. how is interoperability of Markdown files useful to you?

I'll often use neovim to do some quick bulk edits with macros and such, or just more convenient from the context I'm already in. I wish there was a way to trigger an Obsidian sync outside of Obsidian, though (so I could trigger a sync from inside neovim after my edits).
