If ross looked like this, instead of this he'd still be in jail rn. Dude tried to have multiple people killed, there's chat logs, it's on the blockchain. Some of those people weren't real, at least one was. Either way this was his m.o. just after like 18 months or being the Dread Pirate Roberts. Crazy that people cheer him on.

I remember quotes of the entrapment messages, the FBI agents were pushing real hard to order hits after he wasn't interested. Also something about him not being allowed to use server logs to prove that he didn't actually order those hits, multiple people had access to his account, etc? Plus the agents involved later went to prison for corruption in that case. I don't think he deserved even 11 years, let alone multiple life sentences and no chance of parole. The judge said he was being made an example of, which is itself an atrocity. Despite all that, he has been a model inmate by all accounts and did everything to show rehabilitation and remorse.

Got a link to the full set? I might be misremembering, but I remember pushback in the beginning and after that it felt plausible that someone else was writing those messages.

Thanks! Yea the opening reply is very libertarian "let's make up for it by doing business together!" then it felt like the tone changes so much that it could be a different person? To be clear, I'm strongly against "making examples of people", I believe justice should be restorative as much as possible. I am opposed to this form of entrapment, and I am opposed to making real sentencing without any due process. I'd like to give Ross the benefit of the doubt there (I think it's silly to claim that this is because of how he looks, but whatever), but I can also imagine a Breaking Bad scenario where circumstances devolve.
