Given that WalletConnect doesn't see user addresses... how connections or signatures can be a factor in the airdrop?

Last I looked, wallet and dapp talk first agree on a shared encryption key before exchanging any other data, so I don't see how the WC relay server ever gets to see them. There is a Python implementation here that is fairly readable: https://github.com/bitlogik/pyWalletConnect/blob/master/pywalletconnect/enc_tunnel.py
