I keep reminding myself that it's important to have people we disagree with and still respect/admire. It's too easy to get stuck in a bubble where we conflate agreement with respect. We can work together towards a shared vision, even if we're doing it for different reasons. https://warpcast.com/shazow.eth/0x0e3f4847

We absolutely shouldn’t agree all the time. Where would that get us? ps is this about me? If so, I don’t hate prediction markets. I just think people attribute a value to them that is misplaced. During the election for example people were comparing them to polls. Polls are people voters stating how they intend to vote. Prediction markets are people anywhere in the world betting on the outcome they think is more likely. So at the very least they provide entirely different information (one which I believe is irrelevant). So, if you’re referencing our conversation, just know that I don’t hate prediction markets for the wrong reasons. I don’t agree that they’re valuable in the way many people do.
