My parents generally assumed anything that was a cartoon was OK for kids to watch and let me watch this as a youngin. Had nightmares for weeks.

This movie was impactful for me and I started watching it around 6 years old. It’s intense but not over-the-top. Have probably seen it 100 times. They don’t make them like this anymore
