Tbf, having a big vision is ok, just be flexible and ready to accommodate the right strategy. What are you supposed to do if your goal doesn't fit the niche? Drop everything and start anew targeting that niche? Not really, you pivot slightly to accommodate that niche but keep your big vision at the same time.

I didn’t say having a big vision is bad at all. Actually quite the opposite. We have a huge vision but your execution actually needs to be more focused to deliver on a bigger vision.

Oh ya not saying that. just saying start small to know if it’s working faster even if you have a huge vision. 

If you end up having to change, it’s because of that focus that you were able to know the truth that it wasn’t working and it’s much harder to lie to yourself when it’s not “kinda” working

agree with you. I just wanted share my thoughts and echo the same sentiment. It's very common to hear "this won't work, drop it entirely and start a new project with a smaller niche." Seems naive.
