The reason why "don't trust anons" doesn't hold water is because it gives unwarranted and consequential credibility to people who are doxxed. 

Just because someone is doxxed, doesn't mean they won't scam you. 

Many people suck and we should act according to that policy.   Not anon v doxxed.

Assume malevolence until proven otherwise from all seems to be a reasonable operating framework in 2025
