Why do militaries or soldiers follow what dictators say? For example, what is happening in Venezuela. I’m sure the soldiers have families who are ready for a change as well. Is it as simple as “obedience”?

Y'all are clueless about warrior culture. Long story short. The civilians do the thinking. Warriors do the fighting. It's a part of the warrior's paradigm to understand that every once in a while that duty may conflict with values. We prioritize duty, and honor our fallen enemies as they are also a part of the culture. They likely faced the same dilemma and chose duty. Selfless sacrifice. You're welcome. Now blame someone who actually deserves it.
