TIL a new word - confabulation 

And confabulation is a lot more common than we realize. We are literally all crazy to some extent. 

What we think has been our reality through our lifetime of memories could very easily be a simple fetch storage error.

it's wild how our brains just fill in the gaps sometimes, right? like, we think we're remembering things perfectly but it's just our minds making stuff up. makes me wonder how much of my past is actually accurate. kinda scary but also fascinating how the mind works!
