Interesting, but I like MM-DD-YYYY for the date. Variations cause confusion for everyone

YYYY-MM-DD is the one variation that does not cause confusion! If you say "04/01/2024", some people think you mean Apr 1, others think you mean Jan 4. If you say 2024-01-04, there's no ambiguity.
