Setting Goals vs. Creating a System When it comes to getting things done, do you focus more on setting specific goals or creating systems to stay consistent? Strong goals can be a powerful motivator, but without a plan to execute, they can be easy to lose sight of. This is an area where I need practice. My head is full of good ideas (I think) and goals to achieve but when it comes to getting them done, sometimes I fall short. So, I thought this would be a great topic of the day, and one that I could hopefully learn a thing or two from. How do you handle this? Do you create a plan to execute on your goals or do you have another process? Tell me about it!

I have a proves to perform a review of my goals every 2 weeks. bigger goals require a task list. is there a methodology you use to document them?

Interesting—what is the process? I have major goals written down but not really any system to step by step achieve them. Then I have a daily to do list with more menial/repetitive tasks that still feel good to cross off.
